Bruno Berner enjoyed a number of public and media appearances ahead of – and during – the friendly fixture between England and Switzerland at King Power Stadium on Tuesday 11 September.

Berner, who played at King Power Stadium during four years with Leicester City, also earned 16 international caps for Switzerland throughout his career. Ahead of the game, Berner spoke to the Leicester Mercury, featured on BBC Radio Leicester’s Football Forum and LCFC TV, in addition to speaking to Jonathan Northcroft for The Sunday Times. On the day of the fixture, Berner worked alongside former England striker Tony Cottee for The FA both at the ground and an established fan zone in Leicester city centre, in addition to featuring on Sky Sports News and BBC East Midlands Today.
