SC Kriens first team manager Bruno Berner has made an encouraging start to life in the Swiss second tier, following last season’s Promotion League title win.
After four matches in the Challenge League, Berner’s men have one win against FC Aarau, two draws, coming against Lausanne Sport, who were relegated from the Super League, and strongly-fancied Winterthur, and one defeat.
This weekend they face lower-league side FC Langnau away in the Schweizer Pokal (Swiss Cup) for a place in the last 32 and have a move to a purpose-built stadium to look forward to in late September/early October.
